Bridgewater Man Facing Numerous Charges Following Stabbing

Charges have been laid in relation to a stabbing over the weekend in Bridgewater.

Police say 26-year-old Christopher Richard Kilfoy has been charged with multiple offences after a man was sent to the hospital from stab wounds Sunday morning.

The victim was treated for moderate injuries and was released the same day.

Kilfoy was remanded into custody shortly after the incident, and is facing charges of Assault with a Weapon, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Causing a Disturbance by Fighting.

He also breached four court orders.

Kilfoy was expected to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court today.
