For the last several weeks there have been plenty of articles about the least favourite Halloween candy.
Topping just about every list – Candy Corn. I agree. The stuff looks horrible and is just pure sugar.
In close second, those old fashioned molasses candies. They were always the last things in my Halloween loot to get eaten – usually sometime in March of the following year.
For some reason, those sweet little Peeps we got to know and love at Easter time branched out with Halloween and Christmas versions but got thumbs down from candy lovers everywhere.
This year because of the pandemic the Peeps people didn’t make their Halloween or Christmas Peeps. But take heart , we’re only 5 months or so out from Easter when they promise there will be Peeps!
And then the least favourite in the number 4 or 5 spot is those chalky, little round coloured pills in a roll – Rockets.
I love Rockets. And my girls hated them more than candy corn and molasses candies.
And they got a lot of them.
So we struck a deal. In return for never raiding their Halloween loot bags I got a two month supply of Rockets.
We all love the mini-chocolate bars at Halloween, but what candy do you look forward to every year at this time? And which one do you skip?
