Lunenburg County’s Municipal Joint Services Board has announced a new COO.
The board of directors announced today Jennifer Keating-Hubley will take over the role from former Chief Operating Officer Siew Secord.
Keating-Hubley served as Director of Finance for the Region of Queens since 2011, and held the position of Chief Administrative Officer for six months.
“I’m looking forward to bringing with me the many years of experience and knowledge I have in municipal Government to an organization in the community where I have resided all of my life,” said Keating-Hubley
Before serving in the public sector, she spent over a decade as the finance manager for McDonald’s locations in Bridgewater and Liverpool.
The MJSB serves the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, Bridgewater and Mahone Bay and identifies possible shared service opportunities.
The changeover is set to take place November 16.
