The makeup of the current council in the Municipality of the District of Shelburne will remain unchanged.
Every eight years, municipalities across the province have to undergo a review and changes in council makeups are determined if there have been population shifts.
There has been little change in the size of the population in Shelburne County and the Utilities and Review Board has decided to maintain the status quo.
Shelburne Municipality will continue with its seven councillors – then elect the warden.
There will be some altering of district boundaries.
