Spring Is Almost Here But Winter Is Hanging On

There just seems to be no end to this winter!

Yet another major snowfall is heading toward us.

Environment Canada meteorologist Ian Hubbard says a storm will develop in the Gulf of Maine today and bring lots of snow by evening.

He says: “We have a snowfall warning in effect for Lunenburg and Queens Counties. Snow begining late this afternoon. It start off fairly light but then it will pick up and snow at times heavy overnight with about 15 cm falling by dawn”.

Another 5 centimeters is likely before the snow ends tomorrow afternoon.

Yes … at least on paper … spring arrives in 4 days.
