It’s Friday so let’s keep things simple.
The other day I was about to cut in half a sandwich I had made and I had to make the decision to cut it either corner to corner or side to side.
I had no soup to dip the sandwich in so I went with side to side. Also, the filling had some chunks of veggies and I knew it would stay in the sandwich better if I did the old side to side.
But the thing is I normally cut corner to corner. Why? It’s fancier like the restaurants, it’s the way Mom did them, and my most common sandwich is toasted cheese with tomato soup so it’s better for dipping.
