Three New Cases, Three More Variant Cases Confirmed

Three new cases of COVID-19.

The Department of Health and Wellness is reporting 20 active infections in the province Tuesday.

One of the new cases is in Western Zone and under investigation, two more are in Central Zone, one travel related and another a close contact of a previously reported case. One person remains in the ICU.

Meanwhile, the National Microbiology Lab has found three more UK variant cases. The Western Zone case and two Central Zone cases were discovered and reported early in February.

There have now been six UK variant infections found in our province.
