New Germany Elementary Reopens After Flood

Classes resume today at New Germany Elementary School.

The South Shore Regional School Board cancelled classes yesterday after flooding and condensation damaged parts of the school.

It was caused by a broken radiator.

Workers spent the most of yesterday at the school assessing damage to ceilings and walls.

A small part of the school is still closed for repairs.

It’s not known how much they will cost.

About 170 students attend class at New Germany Elementary.
