Bridgewater Food Bank Looks To Expand

The food bank in Bridgewater is hoping to expand.

The Inter-church food bank wants to add 550 square feet to the back of their building for extra storage and sorting.

Volunteer Doug Quinn says the current space isn’t meeting their needs.

“There are times you literally have to move boxes to go to the washroom and then move back boxes to keep working,” he says.

The project is expected to cost up to $40,000 dollars, which they plan to fund raise.

They hope to have the expansion complete by next fall.
