A new program from Screen Nova Scotia wants to put your home in lights.
Starring Your Property is an effort to assemble a list of unique filming locations.
The list would be made available to filmmakers looking to produce a project in the province.
Services and Locations Manager, Melanie Solomon says they’ve launched the program to expand their existing database.
“To find locations that we just don’t know about. Homeowners have properties throughout the province that we can leverage, and people want to film throughout the province. So it’s an opportunity for us to highlight what Nova Scotia has to offer to the world.”
Solomon says homeowners are compensated and get the thrill of seeing their property on screen.
