Advance Polls Open Across South Shore

If people are looking to beat the rush to the polls on October 15, you can do so starting today in many communities.

Advance polls are opening in Queens, Bridgewater, the Municipalities of Chester and Lunenburg, and Lockeport.

Meanwhile, the Town of Shelburne began its electronic voting process on Monday.

So far, 8.5% of eligible voters in the town have cast their ballot either by phone or internet.

Bridgewater, the Municipality of Lunenburg and Chester begin offering e-voting today to their residents.

In Queens, people can vote via paper ballot from 12-8 p.m at the North Queens Fire Hall, West Queens Rec Centre and Milton Community Hall.

If you can’t do it today, another option will be available on Tuesday October 11 from 12-8 p.m. at the Greenfield Fire Hall, Mill Village Fire Hall or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 38 in Liverpool.

In Lockeport, residents can head to the Fire Hall at 67 Hall Street today or Tuesday October 11 from 12-8 p.m.

In Mahone Bay, advance polling days are Saturday and Tuesday October 11 at Town Hall from 12-8 p.m.

The Town of Lunenburg is offering advance polling days on Saturday October 8 and Tuesday October 11.

The Municipality of Barrington will begin offering advance polls on Saturday October 8 and Tuesday October 11 from 12-8 p.m. at the Municipal Courthouse, 2447 Highway 3 in Barrington.
