All Eyes on Canada’s Biggest Night in Music: the 2026 JUNO Awards

Music lovers, mark your calendar for March 29th, 2026, because it’s almost time for the 55th Annual JUNO Awards, Canada’s biggest celebration of homegrown music, happening at the TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario and airing live on CBC and CBC Gem.

This year’s show is shaping up to be a huge moment for Canadian artists. Justin Bieber and Tate McRae are leading the nominations with six apiece, the most of any artists this year, a testament to their massive impact both here and around the world.

But the JUNOs aren’t just about the pop stars. Legendary songwriter Joni Mitchell will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, one of the night’s biggest special tributes, while multi-platinum artist Nelly Furtado is set to be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, celebrating her career that’s spanned decades and influenced so many genres.

Add to that performances from fan favourites like Arkells and The Beaches, and this year’s broadcast promises a mix of big hits and breakout performances.

The JUNOs have a long history of spotlighting a diverse range of Canadian talent, from mainstream chart-toppers to rising stars and Indigenous artists nominated across genres this year.

So whether you’re into pop, rock, R&B, folk, or something else entirely, tune in March 29th, it’s Canada’s night to celebrate its music, its artists, and the songs that define us.
