Just a few days to Remembrance Day and yet another member of Canada’s Armed Forces has died suddenly! 20 year old Private Steven Allen of Victoria has been killed in a training accident at the Third Canadian Division Training Centre in Wainwright, Alberta. Another soldier inside a tactical structure with Allen was injured when it collapsed. Allen was airlifted to the University of Alberta Hospital where he died from his injuries. He was training to become a fully-qualified Regular Force Infantry soldier. An investigation is continuing.
