Another Contender Announces Run At NS PC Party Leadership

The number of candidates vying to be leader for leader of Nova Scotia’s PC party has grown.

Elizabeth Smith-McCrossin has become the first woman to throw her hat into the ring.

The MLA for Cumberland North is the fourth person in the race, joining MLAs Tim Houston and John Lohr, and Mayor of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality Cecil Clarke.

The candidates will have an opportunity to meet with party faithful this weekend.

They can make their case for leadership at their Annual General Meeting in Halifax.
