Around 35 mayors and wardens from across the Maritimes will be heading to Lunenburg County this spring.
Bridgewater has agreed to co-host the next Atlantic Mayors Congress.
Mayor David Walker says he’s excited about the opportunity.
“What a lot of communities do,” he says, ” is to showcase what’s happening in your community, and provide an opportunity for Atlantic Canadian mayors to see this part of Atlantic Canada.”
He says they’re working with the Municipality of Lunenburg to create an itinerary of events to highlight the area.
The conference is scheduled from May 18-20.
