Attempted Murder Case Returns To Court in Yarmouth Next Month

An attempted murder case has been adjourned until Monday December 11 at Provincial Court in Yarmouth.

32-year-old Nicholas Ashton Mullen of Pembroke is facing charges that include Attempted Murder with a Firearm.

He was in court yesterday but did not enter a plea.

A focus hearing will be held on December 11.

Mullen is also charged with Careless Use of a Firearm, Pointing a Firearm and Discharging a Firearm with Intent.

He was arrested earlier this month at a residence in Pembroke after an incident in which a 38-year-old man was airlifted to hospital in Halifax with life-threatening injuries.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
