It’s been one week since the last concert announcement in Queens County and pinch me there is another one.
The Barenaked Ladies will perform at Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool on October 20.
The band is bringing its Canada 1 Five 0 tour to Queens.
General Manager Steve Burns says the group will bring a unique sound to the area.
“They sell millions and millions, actually over 14 million albums in their career so far. They’re just a great fit for the fun loving attitudes we have here in Queens.”
Burns says an opening act will also be announced soon.
The band have won eight Juno Awards, earned multiple Grammy nominations, and also created the theme song for The Big Bang Theory television show.
VIP ticket packages will start being sold through Ticket Pro or the Queens Place box office next Wednesday at 10 a.m followed by general tickets on March 17.
Ticket costs range from $49.50 to $115.
