Barrington: Halifax Man Runs His Way To Nova Scotia Marathon Title

A Halifax man has won this year’s Nova Scotia Marathon in Barrington.

Ian Holdway finished the full marathon in two hours, fifty-six minutes and 36 seconds.

Colin Williams of Great Britain finished in second, roughly three minutes behind.

Jacob Halloran from Guysborough was third.

Bradly Dreimanis of Liverpool was the top finisher from the South Shore at 15th.

Jenna MacDonald of New Glasgow finished first in the 10-kilometre and Halifax’s Matt McNeil took top spot in the half marathon.

Three hundred and thirty-three people participated this year, the 46th annual event.
