A tall man wearing a mask entered a service station on Highway 3 at around 6:15 and demanded money and cigarettes.

Acadia News has learned it was at the Irving gas station.

The male and female employees turned over a quantity of cash and cigarettes and were not hurt.

No weapon was seen.

The mask was found torn along Highway 3 in Doctors Cove on Sunday.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot tall white man in his late twenties with brown hair and a slender build. He was wearing dark pants tucked into rubber boots, a zip-up sweater, and a mask with a tongue sticking out of the side. He was carrying two ‘Sobeys’ reusable shopping bags.
