A man has died after he was hit by a vehicle while trying to cross Highway 3 last night in Barrington Passage.
RCMP say three people were trying to cross the highway just before 7 p.m.
A 75 year-old man was one of them.
He was hit by an oncoming vehicle and died at the scene.
Paramedics were not able to resuscitate him. No one else was hurt.
Highway 3 in the area was closed for several hours while a traffic analyst investigated.
It has since re-opened.
