The Queens County business community had the ear of their MP this week.
Bernadette Jordan met with the South Queens Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday.
She says she’ll make sure concerns raised will be heard by the appropriate people on the hill.
“Anything that came up that we can address we’ll take back,” she says. “We’ll go back to the ministries, we’ll go back to the department’s and we’ll say ‘Ok, can you tell me what are our plans to deal with this?’ or ‘Do we have plans?’ and ‘How can we move forward?”
Jordan says it’s her job to make sure voices from the South Shore are represented in the federal government.
She heads back to Ottawa on Sunday.
