Blowing snow and blizzard-like weather is making its way through the South Shore this morning.
Environment Canada is predicting wind gusts up to 40 km/h and 10 centimetres of snow to accumulate over the next few hours.
However, the system is expected to clear early this afternoon.
There are several morning delays and cancellations due to the weather conditions.
The Division 3 Boys Provincial High School Basketball final is delayed. Games begin at 11AM with the finals go at 5PM.
Italy Cross Fire Department breakfast is cancelled.
St. Norbert’s Big Breakfast has also been cancelled.
ALL Air Canada flights from Newfoundland to Halifax have been cancelled.
