Director of Donor Relations, Peter MacDonald, says one out of two people can donate.
“We average about 80,000 new donors per year. That doesn’t mean we’re adding 80,000 donors to the donor base, we need that many just to break even.”
MacDonald says CBS is trying to attract 100,000 new donors this year.
Blood Services will hold their next collection in the South Shore from August 29 to September 2.
