Big Brothers Big Sisters is asking people to lace up for a good cause.
Rented shoes and friendly competition are on the menu at the annual Bowl For Kids Sake event this weekend.
Executive Director Vanessa Mossop says funds raised will help kids in the South Shore.
“It makes a huge difference,” she says. “We see increased self-esteem in all our ‘littles’ and we also see, in our in-school mentor program, increased attendance.”
Mossop says they currently have about 25 kids waiting for a mentor.
Teams will hit the lanes at the Lunenburg Bowling Alley this Saturday.
