Chair Jennifer Naugler says the board has decided to take a step back from the process in order to make sure policy and procedures were followed during sessions by the school options committee.
Superintendent Geoff Cainen says concerns were raised by some committee members.
A press released was issued today by the board.

The Education Minister has been notified of the decision.
Other board meetings scheduled for tonight and May 24th have been cancelled.
The committee recommended sending grades 10-12 from Bridgewater Junior-Senior High to Park View.
Cainen says an external consultant will review the “procedural fairness” of work that has been completed by the committee.
It is hoped that the board can resume discussions and make a decision in the fall.
