Bridgewater’s deputy mayor is starting his fourth term today.
Bill McInnis was reelected by the council at last nights meeting.
McInnis says he’s honoured his colleagues have faith in him and he says he has big plans for this year.
“The big challenge for this year,” he said, “is going to be our downtown. It’s something I’m really excited about.”
McInnis says the ongoing construction will be particularly hard on the King St. shops.
He says it’s important that people continue support those business even if they’re harder to get to.
