A planned closure of the old bridge has been pushed back.
The Town of Bridgewater was notified of the delay after 9 this morning.
The bridge was expected to be closed today until Wednesday to allow construction crews to connect all the water pipes that have been installed over the last few months.
It’s not yet known when this will take effect.
The $5-million project is scheduled to wrap up by the end of October.
