Bridgewater Police Dog Helps Make Arrest

Bridgewater Police Service Dog Davis has started earning his keep. He was called in to help investigate after a purse was stolen from a car. Deputy Chief Scott Feener says Davis was able to find most of the items from the purse under a nearby tree. “This was his first deployment where he was called in to help retrieve evidence of value to substantiate the crime. He did his job and we’re very happy with his success.” As a result a 32-year-old woman was arrested. Feener says she has since been released but charges are pending and she will be back in court to face them later this month.
