People in the South Shore are shaking off winter and looking ahead to summer.
Events Lunenburg County want you to hold the weekend of July 21.
They’ve just announced they’ll be hosting Rib Fest.
The three day event will feature a variety of ribbers, as well as local food vendors and live music.
Chair of Events Lunenburg County, Joanne Cooper says it’s a great chance to get to know your neighbours.
“Yeah, it’s just an event for the community to get together and come out for a few days and enjoy some good food and some good entertainment.”
Cooper says there’s lots for everyone at the family focused event.
“The ribbers that come in from away. We would have some local vendors and do some local live music. There’s also an opportunity during your time at Rib Fest to vote for your favourite ribber.”
Rib Fest will be held in the parking lot of the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre in Bridgewater from July 21-23.
