It’s official. The last Sears on the South Shore has closed its doors.
The retailer announced in June that it would close 59 of its stores across the country.
Five of those were in the Maritimes and 3 in Nova Scotia.
Acadia News reached out to the owner of Bridgewater Sears prior to it’s closing but received no comment.
It isn’t known what kind of packages former workers were given or how many employees the closure affected at the Bridgewater store.
