Bridgewater Tattoo Shop Collecting Turkeys For Those In Need

A Bridgewater tattoo shop is looking to once again give back to their community this holiday season.

Mary Frank, co-owner of N & M Tattoo and Piercing says in the past they’ve done coat and food bank drives.

This year artists at the shop saw a need for turkeys, which they plan to give to the Family Resource Centre.

Frank says it’s important for them to support their community.

“I was a struggling mom about 10 or 12 years ago so it’s kind of nice to be able to do something.”

Frank says they’ve collected five turkeys so far but they’d like to get at least 50.

She says they’ll be reaching out to several organizations about their turkey drive.

“A few I’m giving to families I know that need (turkeys), and I’m going to be in contact with Harbour House and the Family Resource Centre because they were so appreciative last year when I took them the coats.”

Anyone interested has until 7 p.m. tomorrow to bring in a turkey.

They’ll also be entered into a draw to win gift certificates for tattooing.
