A section of road in Lunenburg County is pegged to re-open in the near future.
Part of the Bruhm Road has been closed since a culvert washed away during a rain storm last December.
However, work is nearing completion on a new bridge.
Brycon Construction of Dartmouth was awarded a contract of over $615,000.
Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal spokesperson, Brian Taylor, says construction could wrap up by the end of the week, depending on the weather.
Taylor says asphalt paving was expected to start on Tuesday with guardrails installed over the next few days.
