The Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre will be rockin’ tonight.
The arena is sold out for the final round robin game of the World Sledge Hockey Challenge between Canada and the U.S.
Canadian forward Billy Bridges says it should be exciting.
“It’s a wicked crowd here and they know their hockey. You can tell they get excited for chances and it’s really fun to represent them.”
Both teams are undefeated at 2-0.
The winner will be the first place seed for the semi-finals.
Assistant Coach Brandon Reid says tonight’s game is another chapter of the Canada-U.S. rivalry.
“It’s always going to be an emotional game. It’s exciting for the players, it’s exciting for the fans and it’s exciting for the coaches. I think both teams will be ready to go.”
Russia beat Korea 5-1 today to finish the round robin in third place while Korea placed fourth.
