Canada-U.S. dory rivalry returns to Lunenburg waterfront

Canada versus the United States returns to the Lunenburg waterfront this weekend.

The 75th annual International Dory Races are set for Saturday, July 25, at Adams and Knickle Wharf.

Racing begins at 10 a.m.

The Canadian Dory Racing Association is inviting people to come down to the waterfront and cheer on Team Canada.

The event brings Canadian and American crews back to the harbour for one of Lunenburg’s classic summer traditions.

Spectators are encouraged to line the waterfront and take in the races.

Organizers are calling on people to show their support and celebrate the long-running dory racing tradition.
