Former Hockey Night in Canada host and well known Canadian broadcaster George Stroumboulopoulos has lost a close friend after a break-in-enter at his home in Los Angeles.
Stroumboulopoulos released a statement on social media saying the murder victim was a close friend of his who was staying at his place while he was away.
In the statement he says he’s “heartbroken”, and on his way to LA to be with friends who are also devastated.
Multiple media reports say the victim was 41-year-old Canadian actor Richard Hong.
