Charges Laid in Bridgewater Stabbing Incident

Charges have been laid against a Bridgewater woman accused of stabbing a Lunenburg County man early Tuesday morning.

Police say 20 year-old Julie Ann Morgan Conrad was taken into custody following the incident.

She has been charged with aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon dangerous to publi peace, breach of probation and possession of controlled substances.

The man was taken to South Shore Regional Hospital for treatment and then released.

Conrad has been remanded to the Burnside Correctional Centre and will appear today in Bridgewater Provincial Court.
