Chester’s Communications Officer, Jennifer Veinotte, says local food banks are the real winners.
“Even though its a fun challenge between the three units, it’s more about stocking the shelves at the food banks at a time when they really need it.”
Veinotte says she hopes more municipalities jump on board next year to help the local food banks in Lunenburg County.
