Chester: Health Centre Needs Permits To Move Forward

Officials with the health centre project in Chester are playing the waiting game.

They need the proper permits in order to begin construction on the Our Health Centre project.

Spokesperson Don Munroe says after the permits arrive, they need go to tender and select a company to do the work.

The process could take four to six weeks.

The $6 million health centre will be built in Shoreham Village and serve as a collaborative space for family doctors and nurse practitioners.

It expected to be open next year.
