The Old Stone Bridge in Chester will receive its official heritage designation during an event later today. MLA Denise Peterson-Rafuse will unveil a provincial heritage plaque at the little bridge on Victoria Street symbolizing its rich history. The bridge was designated a provincial heritage property in April. It’s the first structure in the province to receive such designation that is not a building or property. The bridge dates back to the late 1800’s and still sees regular traffic.
