Chester Wind Turbine Meets Expectations

A year after it started spinning, a wind turbine in Chester is meeting expectations.

The Kaizer Meadow Wind Project was approved in 2012 and became operational last December.

Warden Allen Webber says the most recent report was encouraging.

“It had generated revenue in excess of what it was projected to do,” he says. “So, that’s good news.”

Webber says they’d like to partner with other communities to build more turbines in the future.

More than $1.1-million in revenue has been produced so far.
