The Chester Clippers have clinched a spot in the Nova Scotia Junior ‘C’ hockey semi-finals. Jeremy Church and Ryan Horsman each scored three goals as the Clippers skated to a 10-1 win over the Fundy Phantoms last night in Brookfield, sweeping the best-of-five series, 3-0. Scott MacSween added two goals while Jack Strowbridge and Mathieu Bourgeois each scored once. Ben Bailey recorded the win in goal for Chester. The semi-finals are scheduled to begin February 23rd in Chester. The club’s semi-final opponent has yet to be determined.
