The Communist Party of Canada has a candidate running in South Shore – St. Margaret’s.
Ryan Barry is the fifth person on the ballot for the October 19th election.
His online profile says he grew up in Bridgewater and studied at Saint Thomas University in Fredericton.
He is campaigning for higher wages for all Nova Scotians including $20 an hour minimum wage.
Barry also supports reversing privatization of health care and expanding Medicare.
