Court Case Against South Shore RCMP Officer Adjourned

A court case against a South Shore RCMP officer has been adjourned until next year. The un-named officer with the Bridgewater detachment has been on leave since his wife filed charges against him late last year, alleging he abused her. After several days of testimony by the officer’s wife and several RCMP members, the case has been put over to next April. That apparently is the earliest the Crown and defence lawyers and the court docket will be free to proceed with hearing the case.
