A minor scheduling change for the South Shore Home, Sport and Travel Expo in Liverpool.
The event, originally scheduled for April 28-30 at Queens Place Emera Centre, has been moved to May 5-7.
The change happened after the expo dates in Liverpool conflicted with dates for Saltscapes East Coast Expo in Halifax.
The Darwin Group is organizing the expo in Liverpool.
VP of Operations, Natalie Schurman, says the move makes sense.
“Quite a few of our vendors go to the Saltscapes show. We thought, do we want to try and compete on the same weekend and lose some vendors? So we just switched it to May 5.”
Saltscapes has since changed their date to April 21 but Schurman says they will be sticking with the May 5-7 dates in Liverpool.
The South Shore Home, Sport, and Travel Expo is expected to attract outdoor enthusiasts, adventure seekers and contractors to Queens.
