Decorated World War II Veteran Passes Away

A decorated Second World War veteran in Lunenburg County has died.
Reverend Ron Mosley passed away Thursday afternoon in Georgia following a health issue with his heart.
Mosley served as a Chaplain with the 106th Infantry Division of the U.S Army.
He fought in the famous Battle of the Bulge, where he was wounded twice.
Mosley’s son-in-law wrote on Facebook that he was a Bronze Star and double Purple Heart recipient.
Mosley was also a writer and was involved with the Royal Canadian Legion in Bridgewater.
A celebration of life service is expected to be held in Bridgewater.
However, a date has not yet been finalized.
