Diesel prices down in N.S.

Diesel prices have dropped in the province.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board invoked the interrupter clause at midnight to adjust the price at the pumps Saturday.

Diesel now sits at about $1.73 per litre in the Halifax area. It’s a little higher in other regions of the province.

That’s about an 11-cent per litre drop.

The shift comes after the regular weekly adjustment was made on Friday, with the gas regulator citing the reason as “due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil.”

The price of gas did not change
