A big thing on twitter right now is something called “Random Facts” where you post a random fact about yourself.
For me it has to be some of the spelling hacks I use, since I was raised before Auto-Correct was a thing.
When I write Wednesday I always say Wed-Nes-Day in my head before writing it. Does anyone else do this?
And Mississippi – I sing the song in my head. Also, when counting seconds I say one Mississippi, two Mississippi.
Pneumonia? I say it in my head this way – Puh-new-monia.
Those winged dinosaurs called pterodactyls? – I’m secretly saying Puh-tero-dack-tyl.
And I was a teenager before I realized that those female characters in the books I was reading didn’t have a name that rhymed with antelope.
