Spring Cleaning used to be a thing. I’m not sure it is anymore what with the pandemic the last year. I’m sure we’re cleaning all the time now because of boredom.
However, there are three things I try to remember to clean because they are things you forget about.
One – the toaster crumb tray. It’s out of sight, tucked in the bottom of the toaster and it’s just not something you think about until you get crumbs on fire and flames shooting out of the top of the toaster.
Two – Most cars today have a cabin filter. That’s in addition to the air filter under the hood that gets changed on a semi regular basis. Some cabin filters are easy to do yourself. They are tucked in behind the glove compartment in a lot of models.
Three – And this is the gross-out one. The overflow on the bathtub. Remove the screw on the cap and then behold the filthy end of the pipe.
