Doctors Nova Scotia organised a town hall meeting in Halifax on the proposed federal tax changes. No one spoke out in favour and there were warnings about what might happen to health care systems if these tax changes proceed.
The President of the Medical Staff Organisation in the Saint John region, Dr. Patti Forgeron says the effect on women doctors hasn’t been taken into account which she calls astonishing given the Trudeau Government prides itself on gender equality.
Several woman doctors at the Halifax town hall say being incorporated allowed them to have maternity leave they couldn’t otherwise have afforded.
