Funds continue to pour in for the family of a Liverpool woman who died last week in a crash on Highway 103.
Twenty-nine year-old Nicole Thomas was killed in the multi-vehicle collision near Brooklyn.
Her husband, Charles, was listed in critical condition in Halifax hospital. She also has two small children.
An online fundraiser raised more than $6,500 over the weekend.
Krista Barton created the campaign and says she wanted to help.
“She was well-known from where she worked at McDonalds, always a happy face and when you have kids of your own and something like this happens, all you can think about is what can I do to help a family in need.”
Barton says people have come together to help the family.
A Facebook page has been set up, encouraging people to donate to a GoFundme campaign.
You can visit the Facebook page – it’s called ‘Help Support the Thomas Family.’
The GoFundMe page is https://www.gofundme.com/vndbzezr .
Donations are also being collected around Liverpool including Treasures Day Spa and the Native Council of Nova Scotia.
